I am going to break this down for people right quick, because the confusion has been very blatant amongst my feed this morning.
Transgender individual #1, feels uncomfortable in their own skin so they seek out HRT and other body modifications in order to live more comfortably as themselves within their body.
Transgender individual #2, feels comfortable in the body they have and has no desire for HRT or any other body modifications in order to be comfortable within their own skin.
Transgender individual #3, feels as though the body they have is okay, but would prefer some changes. Nothing drastic, perhaps just HRT and maybe some laser hair removal.
Transgender individual #4, feels uncomfortable in their own skin, but hasn’t quite figured out what is going to be right for them and the future of their body.
Transgender individual #5…The list goes on…What is my point?
NOT ALL TRANS PEOPLE DESIRE TO LOOK THE SAME.
STOP VALIDATING TRANS PEOPLE ON THEIR ABILITY TO PASS AS A CIS MAN OR WOMAN.
THE APPEARNCE OF SOMEONE WHO IS TRANS DOES NOT MAKE THEM ANY MORE OR LESS VALID AS A TRANSGENDER INDIVIDUAL.
